Sydney driver, petrol station to buy breakfast, unlocked car fined $112

A Sydney man was fined $112 for not locking his car.


A Sydney man passed a gas station on his way to work on Friday, according to Channel 7. He got out of the car quickly to buy meat pies and was fined A $112 for not locking the car.

Sydney resident Jade (Ben Judd) was reported to have passed a BP gas station in (Woollahra), Woollahua, on his way to work in the eastern part of the city on Friday morning. He stopped for breakfast at the gas station store for no more than two minutes. But when he came out of the shop, he found a policeman standing by his car.

Jade said he took both a breath test and a random drug test, and the results showed that there was no problem. But the officer seemed determined to do everything possible to punish him.

Eventually, the officer fined him A $112 for failing to close / lock the car window.
