Melbourne-based government in CITY, Melbourne, will soon announce an increase in on-street parking charges across the city centre.
The last increase was five years ago, when the city parking fee was raised by 40% at a time!
After that increase, the city-wide roadside parking fee was $5.5 per hour.
The average non-downtown roadside parking fee is $3.2 per hour.
The price increase has not yet been announced, but according to previous routines, it is estimated that at least $6 or more.
