A young mother shared pictures of her son bleeding in her cradle, allegedly cutting her child's toes, on the Internet, according to < Daily Mail.
Adelaide's mother, Erin Duffy, said he found blood in his cradle Monday morning when he went to breast-feed his six-week-old son, Parker.
She later posted the photo on Facebook and wrote, "I saw a lot of blood on his body, on the blanket and in the cradle."
"The cradle was bought by my mother at Big W and the cradle side had a gas-permeable net, and I thought it was to keep the air flow and to prevent the sudden death of the baby (SIDS).", she said.
"Parker's little toe was stuck in a hole in the side, and it was cut," Ms. Duffy wrote, believing that her son's little toe was stuck in a breathable net and caused the bloodshed.
"I'll wear him socks every night to make sure it doesn't happen again."
Ms. Duffy posted a picture of a beach of blood and a toenbound toe in the cradle.
Ms Duffy says she has contacted Big Wto to make sure it doesn't happen again to other children. "I want everyone to know the potential danger and no more babies getting hurt."
