Victoria railway station 'red and black list' out, look at your nearby station on the list?

Traffic in a city reflects the city's appearance and planning to some extent, and the quality of the railway station determines people's first impression of the city. The railway station is the place that most people must pass through every day. If they are to be ranked, which railway station will be the top one and which one will be the bottom? Recently, the Victoria Railway Station was visited by a "collective review."

According to the Herald Sun:

RACV surveyed more than 16,999 passengers who rated the state's best and worst railway stations. The rating includes not only the Urban Railway (Metro Trains), but also the suburban Railway (V/Lien).

The survey was conducted by RACV and Leader, and respondents were asked to score local stations (with a total score of 10), including safety, parking, ticketing, accommodation, staffing, cleaning, seats, lighting and latrines. Let's take a look at the "Red and Black list" of the Victoria Railway Station with the editor!

1. Best Station TOP 10

In southwestern Melbourne, Wyndham Vale Station, not far from Werribee, was named the best station in Victoria with a score of 8.97, in line with the previous survey conducted in 2015. A small gap squeezed the other three newly built stations on the Frankston train line. The station also scored 4.2 points on Google, with a total of 166 people evaluating it.

Frankston's reputation is not good, but the online Bentleigh has a second-best result.

Ormond, McKinnon also won fourth and fifth places, respectively.

The Mitcham between Boxhill and Ringwood is also on the list.

The Sunbury Railway (8.86) was ranked the best in Victoria with the, South Morang (7.93), Glen Waverley (7.87), Alamein (7.85 and Sandringham (7.84) in the top ten.

2. Worst Station TOP 10

The Donnybrook station in Whittlesea was rated as the worst in Victoria, with just 3.41 points (10 out of 10), according to the survey.

Passengers say the reason for the low marks is that there are fewer parking spaces, poor bus service and no public toilets.

Fewer parking spaces are also responsible for the Aircraft, Murruumbeena, Lalor, Carnegie and Craigieburn stations in the top 10 worst stations.

The lack of parking spaces is one of the most serious problems, in addition, personal safety has become a major problem.

For Albion, Dandenong and Moorabbin stations, passengers are more concerned about their personal safety.

Passengers said the Werribee line (4.67 points) was the worst line in Melbourne because trains were often late, avoided some stations and were overcrowded.

According to the Herald Sun, the survey involved more than 200 stations and the average score for all stations in Victoria was just 6.95, with passengers reporting most of the problems: insufficient parking spaces, physical safety and inadequate toilets.

Service is divided equally 6.93, seat shortage, crowded, train is not punctual is the most disgruntled three major problems.

Daniel Bowen, a spokesman for the Public Transport user Association, said the government should take more steps to improve public transport services.

"the parking lot will never meet the needs of the public. We hope that there will be more and better bus connections so that members of the public can get to the station in a more convenient way, "he said.

A spokesman for the Director of Public Transport, Jacinta Allan Sacha Fenton, responded:

"there are about 600 improvements under way across Melbourne's rail network, including the installation of shelter, landscaping and toilet upgrades."

Asked about the safety and cleanliness issues raised in the On Track survey, Metro spokesman Marcus Williams said the Metro team was working overtime to improve services. He said:

"We are running more services, implementing more maintenance projects, and still doing a lot of upgrades. Today, the Metro network has more than 90,000 surveillance cameras, including each train compartment and every train station. To ensure passengers. Safety, our staff and monitoring team work closely with the Victorian police."

epilogue

Facilities and services at Victoria's railway station are uneven, and some of the older stations lag far behind the new ones. I hope the survey results urge the relevant departments to improve, upgrade station facilities and services, and bring people a better traffic experience.
