Online wedding company Wedded Wonderland is reported to have surveyed 515 women to find out how much per woman spent on wedding dresses in Australia on average, and the results came as a surprise.
Australian women spent an average of A $5180 on wedding dresses in 2018, up nearly 30 percent from A $4000 last year, according to the survey.
Kuli (Wendy El Khoury), founder of Wedded Wonderland, said Australian brides' spending on wedding dresses had risen largely because of greater pressure from social media than ever before.
Kuli explained that social media and television Reality Show have had a big impact on the way Australians celebrate love and how weddings are held.
