Australian women spend an average of $5180 on wedding dresses. How much would you like to spend?

Online wedding company Wedded Wonderland is reported to have surveyed 515 women to find out how much per woman spent on wedding dresses in Australia on average, and the results came as a surprise.

Australian women spent an average of A $5180 on wedding dresses in 2018, up nearly 30 percent from A $4000 last year, according to the survey.

Kuli (Wendy El Khoury), founder of Wedded Wonderland, said Australian brides' spending on wedding dresses had risen largely because of greater pressure from social media than ever before.

Kuli explained that social media and television Reality Show have had a big impact on the way Australians celebrate love and how weddings are held. "Ins moment (Instagrammable moments)" has also become a wedding phenomenon. In addition, the newcomers also create surprise elements for the guests. Whether photographing in front of a flower wall or as a label for a wedding ceremony, brides want to be the most dazzling and laudable on this particular day.

Grace Loves Lace, Australia's best-selling wedding brand, uses apps such as Instagram to promote its dress. As a result, the brand's wedding dress rose from A $1650 to A $3990, slightly lower than the Australian average.

In addition, brands such as Steven Khalil, Pallas Couture,Spell & The Gypsy Collective,Karen Willis Holmes and Anna Campbell have become more and more well-known for their online popularity and clothing performance.

Although Australian brides spend more on wedding dresses, this is only a fraction of the total wedding expenses. Australian newcomers are currently spending an average of A $51245 on the wedding, up from A $48624 last year.
