Attention, Victoria! Don't let this grass in your backyard, or you'll be in trouble

Recently, a Victorian complained that her family was surrounded by a strange variety of straw. Although she has tried many times to remove these annoying weeds, each time after weeding, these strange plants with a 'let wildfire can not be extinguished, spring wind still vigorous growth' momentum crazy, let her worry.

Leanne Gloury of Laceby, a small town in north-eastern Victoria, recently struggled with wind and grass and couldn't help posting on social media for help.

Wangaratta's mayor, Ken Clarke, says the plague-like weed grows fast, and when it matures, it becomes overcast, with very low visibility and air pollution. This forced the State Road Service to close the roads around the weeds.

Ms. Gloury said, 'the grass is so light that they can' come and go'in the air even in windless weather.

I was desperate, and I was wondering if I had missed something when I was weeding, or that you knew some way out of the straw, or that I was wrong in the first place. Or maybe you've had a situation like this before and you know how to deal with it. Anyway, the way I'm doing it isn't working at all, and I'm about to give up fighting these weeds.'

Residents living in the area now have to figure out for themselves how to deal with the trouble caused by the 'wind and roll grass', or else they can only watch this species, commonly known as the 'plush panic', encroach upon your home step by step.

Ms. Gloury said the grass grew so fast that it continued to gather at the top of the straw, making the whole straw heavier and intertwined with each other.

Every time my daughter and I go out and throw a litter, we have to cut through the thorns to open a way out. You can't expect yourself to gently open the straw with your hand. You have to push them away. "

They will not only grow higher, they will also be constantly moving with the wind to change their position, in our front yard and in the backyard 'camped', I can not enter through the front door to the home now, They can only enter their homes through a remote garage in the backyard.

Ms. Gloury explained that when the weather was dry, the weeds began to take root and sow. Once their seeds enter your yard, it's hard to get rid of them completely.

It is reported that this is the second time the Gloury family has suffered such a 'weed disaster'. It first happened in 2016, when 20 new homes were 'besieged' by one of the worst weeds near a farm.

'I 've tried countless ways to get rid of these weeds, 'Ms. Gloury said.' there's nothing I can do now.

I tried to rake it and then clean it up, but if there was a little wind, they would grow quickly.

I tried to mow part of the grass, and I even bought a large lawn mower, but when I started the machine, I blocked the blade of the mower because there were so many weeds.

I even bought a blower in (Bunnings), and it worked a little bit the first night, at least the weeds in the front porch disappeared, but the next day, the blower couldn't motivate the crazy weeds at all.

Mayor Clarke also says there is nothing he can do about it. He thinks we can't beat Nature.

If the straw has not yet spread to other areas, the only way to do so now is to use a municipal road garbage cleaner, which could remove most of the straw.
