Kunzhou ushered in the hottest July in history, the future temperature above 40 degrees may become normal!

Australian climatologists have warned of record temperatures in parts of southeastern Queensland in July, according to the Australian broadcaster (ABC).

The Meteorological Bureau today released weather data showing record high temperatures in July in parts of Brisbane, Oakey,Gatton and parts of the Gold Coast.

Rising temperatures and lower-than-average rainfall have left 2/3 of Kunzhou dry or affected by drought. It also raises the question: is Kunju heading for the hot summer of the Northern Hemisphere?

ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes heat wave expert Sarah Perkins-Kirkpatrick said, although not sure, but there is a cause for concern.

"at the moment, we are moving towards an El Ni ñ o summer and it is clear that Queensland is more likely to have a hotter and more extreme climate. We cannot use the situation in the Northern Hemisphere to predict what may happen in summer in the Southern Hemisphere. But judging from the climate of the past three months, the weather is indeed moving in a hotter direction. Of course we have reasons to worry, especially in the long run, we may see more summers similar to those of the Northern Hemisphere. "

Perkins-Kirkpatrick said she believes climate change will further push the state's climate into new extremes. A new study by the University of Melbourne shows equatorial tropical hurricanes have pushed more parts of southern Queensland into stormy areas.

"to be honest, I don't want to live in the tropics for the next few decades, not only because the temperature is rising, but also because the humidity is uncomfortable."

The weather record will continue to be broken over the next few years, Perkins-Kirkpatrick said. "it is hard to say when records will be broken, but there is no doubt that they will be broken. It depends mainly on where you live, and we are sure to see more and more weather over 40 degrees in the next 10 to 20 years. There is also research showing that there may be more than 50 degrees in the future, which has never happened before, but that will be much longer in the future. "
