Recently, a couple, Blade Antoine Didon and Tenneill Kathleen Pen-Dennis, were sentenced to jail in South Australia for intentionally wounding a person, the victim being a convicted sex offender.
It happened November 16-17, 2016, when the couple's friends were in a house on the outskirts of North District.
The couple, their children, the victim and another spent the night in the house. The next morning, Pen-Dennis found out from the victim's cell phone that he had committed sexual crimes and wrongly accused him of sexually assaulting their children.
Didon asked Pen-Dennis to take the child out of the house and then began an attack on the victim. He beat the victim with a broom for 20 minutes, when another person at the scene also beat the victim with a hook and black stick, punched and kicked him, sprayed some liquid on his face, forced him to stay in the shower room and wear pink pants.
The victim asked for hospital treatment, but was trampled on the back of the head by Didon, boxing face twice to coma.
Pen-Dennis was not present at the time of the attack, but when she returned, she helped tie the victim's face, hands and feet with an extension wire and tried to plug her socks into the victim's mouth.
At 3 a.m., Didon stripped the victim naked, sat in a shower room and cleaned his blood, then attacked him with a machete with his knee and threatened to kill him if he didn't shut up. Didon then took the victim out of the house and attacked him in the back with a machete.
The victim then found a chance to escape while the perpetrator was sleeping and sought help from his neighbors. It later proved that the victim had broken eye sockets and fingers, injured both knees, and had marks of cutting and bruising.
The judge eventually sentenced Didon to five years and one month, and Pen-Dennis was sentenced to two years and eight months.
