According to the Daily Telegraph, a new survey of Australian teenagers in the kitchen is affecting their health and increasing obesity rates for the next generation, according to a new survey.

According to PureProfile, a research firm:

  • Nearly half of Australia's 12-to 18-year-olds do not even know how to boil eggs;
  • One in five people only has the kitchen skill of pouring milk into grains;
  • 42% of people can't cook noodles.
  • 83.9% of people don't know how to roast chicken.
  • 60.1% of people don't bake potatoes.
  • 45.7% of people are unable to confidently cook according to recipes.

A survey of 1006 parents showed that 67.3 percent of parents thought their children could perform better in terms of healthy food and lifestyle knowledge.

42.5% of parents believe the lack of education in secondary schools is responsible for their children's poor food choices.

Ten percent of parents support schools to take more measures to promote healthy lifestyles.

According to the OECD (OECD), Australia has a fifth-highest obesity rate. One in four Australian children under the age of 18 are considered overweight or obese.

Experts say the numbers will increase if children are not properly educated about how to choose healthy foods properly.

Nutritionist Raleigh (Miriam Raleigh) says she has discovered that a new generation of young parents do not know how to cook. They rely on simple meals and convenient snacks, but these foods are usually high in fat and salt, leading to obesity and cardiovascular and other health problems.
