Adelaide famous Asian fast food closed down for rectification! The food does not put the refrigerator again and again teach not to change!

A Vietnamese fast food mall in the south district of Adelaide has been banned from buying meat and vegetables for failing to meet food hygiene and safety requirements.

Soonta, a popular Vietnamese restaurant at Castle Plaza Shopping Centre, was ordered to shut down operations from April 24 after they repeatedly ignored warnings from government in Marion.

He was also fined $750 for ignoring warnings.

On Friday, store manager Hermant Bhatiya said they were now "following all the guidance and advice from the Food Safety Agency."

"those suggestions were very helpful," Bhatiya said. "We have completed the food safety course and now all of our ingredients are stored at the right temperature in the freezer."

Bhatiya and his wife Priti started the store last March.

Marion Mayor Kris Hanna said the store's owners had been warned four times a month because they didn't put food in the fridge and would put the next day's tofu at random.

"most of the time, restaurants are fine," Mr. Hanna said. "but there are always a few shops that ignore the warnings, and they will be punished."

In the next few weeks, staff from the city government will ensure that the store has changed all the illegal behaviors and understands all the food safety requirements.

"they will now enter the observation period, and our staff will randomly and secretly check the quality of their food until they can meet our requirements."

The restaurant was the only one in Marion that government fined this fiscal year, but last month a Brighton restaurant was fined $9,000 for a cockroach disaster.
