How many eggs can we eat a week? Finally, there's an answer.

We all know that eggs can be made into a healthy, affordable and delicious meal, but now research has finally told us how many eggs we can eat a week from a healthy point of view.

According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, people can eat up to 12 eggs a week, and within that range, eggs do not cause any harmful effects.

The researchers also found that eating fewer eggs (two a week) and eating more (12 a week) had the same effect on slimming people over the course of a year.

They found that even people with type 2 diabetes were not adversely affected by eating foods containing large amounts of eggs, such as inflammation, risk of cardiovascular disease or elevated blood sugar.

The researchers concluded: "it may also be safe to eat eggs in accordance with population health guidelines, or eat more eggs than currently recommended in some countries."

The study prompted calls for a review of the guidelines of the Australian National Heart Foundation, which recommend that Australians eat only six eggs a week.

While eggs-especially yolks-are rich in fat, they are also rich in vitamins, minerals, protein and healthy omega-3 fats. Yolks are also very nutritious, so you don't have to eat only egg whites.

Eggs can make people feel full and do not raise cholesterol in the blood. The study found that if eggs were used instead of cereal breakfasts, people would consume less calories a day.
