Australians cry all day long. It's generous to spend money on this.

Vacations are Australia's biggest entertainment spending, and Australians spend more on overseas trips than ever, according to (ABC).

Australians spend about $172 a week on entertainment, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Household Expenditure Survey released last year.

This is slightly lower than 2009-10, when leisure consumption was 184 yuan a week.

In 2015 / 16, households spent 76 yuan a week on vacation, up nearly 30 percent from 2009 / 10, while spending on overseas holidays rose 50 percent.

The biggest drop in spending was television: Australian households spent nearly 60% less than in 2009-10.
