Accused of theft, Coles customers fight with supermarket staff

According to the Daily Mail, a group of shoppers were shopping at a Coles supermarket in Melbourne, and one of them was accused of theft by supermarket workers, causing physical clashes.

It is understood that the incident took place in Melbourne west of Verby (Werribee) in a Coles supermarket. The cause is the supermarket staff accused a man of theft, the two sides have a physical conflict.

Video shows an employee and a man fighting in the middle of a supermarket passageway, with other supermarket employees and men's friends admonishing, but the two remain unrelenting. After that, more and more supermarket workers came to pull the shelves, and the man's friends pulled him apart, and the conflict subsided. The supermarket worker then left the crowd, but his shirt was torn apart during the clash.

Female customers and children passing by were shocked by the conflict.

Shortly after the incident, a netizen claiming to be a customer said on social media that he had been pushed by supermarket employees at the time and that he was "defending himself".
