Traffic congestion takes up daily life and has an impact on Western Australian commuters and their families, said Gersby (Will Golsby), managing director of RAC Insurance.

He noted that there was no single way to manage and address traffic congestion and that government needed to take a range of measures, including sustained and increased investment in public transport facilities, better bicycle infrastructure and continued investment in road networks. Implement intelligent transportation system and so on.

Thursday and Friday are the most frequent periods of the week, with the largest number of vehicles on roads from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the most likely injuries, according to the 2018 annual report of the Western Australian Insurance Commission (Insurance Commission of WA).
