Chinese men import model toys for children, or face 10 years imprisonment

A Chinese man is accused of importing two child-like sex toys to Melbourne, according to 9News.

On June 18, customs officials intercepted one of the silicone toys from Chinese air parcels. Last week, they seized another toy and some electronic equipment in a raid on a home in Toorak.

The 20-year-old, who appeared in court on July 26, is due to appear again in November on two counts of prohibited imports.

Australian Border Service Commander Graeme Grosse said tracking children's sexual crime was a top priority for workers trying to protect the community.

"We will try to stop this commodity from flowing into the border. The import of these child-like sex toys and other child sex materials is a matter of great concern to the Australian Border Agency, and we will work to track down those who are trying to import such goods. "

If convicted, the Chinese man could face 10 years in prison.
