Sydney's father and son overturned from a 4-meter high balcony and were both injured and admitted to the hospital.

A father and son fell from a 4-meter-high balcony early Saturday morning in a home on the northern beach of Sydney and both were admitted to hospital, Radio 9 reported.

It is reported that the incident took place around 4 am this morning. Emergency service personnel received reports that a 41-year-old man and an 8-year-old boy fell off a 4-meter-high balcony and rushed to their home in (Pittwater Road), (Church Point) Pitwater Road, Chucky.

When three fire engines and a number of police vehicles arrived at the scene, the father lost consciousness and the injured boy was near him.

The father and son were treated at the scene by paramedics at (NSW Ambulance), the new state ambulance agency, and the severely injured father was taken by helicopter to (Royal North Shore Hospital), Royal North Bank Hospital.

The boy suffered only minor injuries and was taken to the same hospital by ambulance.

At present, the police in the incident residential cordon, and to investigate the incident.
