At present, Huang Jianxiang and his fiancee are seeking "exemption" related provisions. But in its new ruling, (Administrative Appeals Tribunal), the administrative appeals tribunal, said Mr Huang would bring his fourth partner to Australia, not a "special case (compelling circumstances)." He has guarantee two ex-wives and a third Chinese partner. His third partner had been granted a fiancee visa in the weeks before Huang withdrew his guarantee.
Huang told the court that he was "single and alone" and that it was "difficult to find a partner because of poor English", hoping someone would take care of him in his old age. He was afraid of an accident when he was alone, and no one knew.
"his partner, Huang Randy, offered to take care of him and stay with him until he was old," the court ruling said.
It is understood that Huang Jianxiang at present in Australia to receive pension. If he moved to Guangzhou, he said, he might lose his hard-earned pension and struggle to fund his fiancee's life.

It is reported that Huang Randy divorced his ex-husband in 2014. She told the court that Mr. Huang was "older than her, but she wanted to be with him because he was a good companion." However, the court has not obtained evidence to prove whether Huang Jianxiang and Huang Randy's relationship is true.
Huang Jianxiang guaranteed the first wife from China to come to Australia and have three children. After 47 years of marriage, the two divorced. In 2008, Huang guaranteed a second foreign wife to come to Australia and divorced again four years later.
In 2014, the immigration tribunal, (Migration Review Tribunal), specifically approved Huang Jianxiang's pledge to guarantee a third partner's migration, but he withdrew the guarantee prior to his marriage. Huang Jianxiang said helplessly that the former fiancee had changed her mind after receiving the money he had given him to treat cervical cancer and refused to marry him again.
