Dunn (Kirsty Dunn), a spokesman for Gumtree, said that if users wanted to sell their old phones, they could increase their value in a few simple ways. For example, look at the price of the same or similar models on the Gumtree; the group type and pricing of the old phones in your area; and find the suggested retail price and put it in the middle of your own ad for sale.
Dunn cautions that it is important to provide a warranty or receipt to describe the phone. If there is any problem with your mobile phone, you should also be honest. Sellers can also offer accessories, such as headphones or chargers, or cell phone boxes, to boost the value of older phones.
A spokesman for Finder, Kidman (Alex Kidman), said iPhones phones are well preserved, so selling older phones can make a good price. He also cautioned that sellers should be realistic about the situation and value of old phones. In addition, anyone who sells an old phone must remember to clean up the Apple ID and all personal data on the phone.
