Australia's deadly ghost city has become an online celebrity tourist destination, and all the people who have been there have died!

In the impression of many people, Australia is like a fairy tale in a dream, bathed in the sun, looking up at the blue sky, breathing the smell of the sea and the grass

But who could have guessed that in such a dreamlike country there was a terrible "deadly ghost city" hidden in such a dreamy country, a small sleeping town with few human beings, lifeless, seemingly simple and calm, but with the deadliest claws, The madness engulfed thousands of lives.

The scary place is Wittenoom, in Western Australia, but this ghost town is an unexpected online celebrity tourist destination because of its proximity to Carrinicki National Park.

And then something desperate happened.

Many tourists soon after visiting Wittenoom, cough, chest tightness and other symptoms, some people in a very short period of time into the embrace of death, they must have regretted coming to this place

What is the cause of the "deadly ghost city"? Is it the curse of our ancestors? Or an unknown virus? Or some kind of death radiation?

It's not really the culprit. It's asbestos.

Wittenoom was originally an asbestos mining site, but in 1978, due to the health effects of asbestos residues in the air, government began abandoning the Wittenoom mine and relocating its inhabitants.

Wittenoom asbestos residues have killed thousands of miners, residents and tourists as a result of ongoing mining operations in the past

But what is asbestos? Why is it so dangerous?

Pudding went to encyclopedia at once in a scientific manner, and it turned out to be a matter of great fear.

Asbestos is a kind of fiber mineral which is widely used. However, its fibrous particles can cause serious harm to human body. It can cause fibrous lung, lung cancer and other malignant tumors, etc. It is the first kind of carcinogen (the highest hazard) published by WHO.

However, the blue asbestos residue from Wittenoom is the deadliest of all asbestos types and still exists throughout the Wittenoom region.

Even exposure to very small amounts of blue asbestos in a very short period of time can cause mesothelioma-a deadly cancer with a latency of up to 40-50 years.

Lyniece Bolitho, a former resident who runs the Lost Wittenoom Facebook page, said her father, three uncles and two grandfathers all died of the disease.

Bolitho said he was stunned by the photos, videos and posts that recently appeared on social media, and that people even took their children to Wittenoom Gorge for a swim.

Government says it will give Yan Zheng a warning to tourists planning a trip to Wittenoom

Life-saving pudding also reminds you, never have the psychology of hunting, tourist resorts are still a lot of, cherish life ah ~
