Lower health requirements for immigration applications


Starting on July 1, the Australian Immigration Service's threshold for a possible economic burden on Australian communities has been raised from A $4 to A $49000, and the target time has fallen from a lifetime to a decade after permanent residence. This change has led to the smooth arrival of many applicants who were unable to come to Australia for physical reasons.
