Introduction

East Point Reserve is located in the northern outskirts of Darwin, the northern outskirts of the East Point (East Point), is about 5 km from the city of Darwin.

East Point Reserve has several popular beaches, including Darwin's most popular home beach in (Fannie Bay); Lake Alexandria (Lake Alexander), located in the reserve, is a man-made lake that brings in seawater from the gulf and provides a safe swimming zone free of stings throughout the year.

East Point Reserve is a habitat for many wild animals, where you can see marsupials, beavers, tail-brushing possum, and a variety of reptiles, butterflies and birds. The protected area features walkways, bicycle trails, picnics with views, free barbecue facilities and children's playgrounds, as well as continuous views of the Darwin urban area and Vanni Bay (Fannie Bay). And the magnificent sunset in (Dudley Point), Cape Dudley, is popular with local residents and tourists.

East Point Reserve is of great military and historical significance to Darwin. During the second World War, the East Cape played an important role in the protection of Australia. The Darwin military Museum (The Darwin Military Museum) is located in the protected area.
