Introduction

Barron Gorge National Park is located on the northwest outskirts of Cairns, a famous tourist city on the northern coast of Queensland, about 32 kilometers from Cairns.

Founded in 1940 and covering an area of 2820 hectares, Barron Gorge National Park is a World Heritage site, part of (Wet Tropics of Queensland) in the humid tropics of Queensland. Barron Gorge National Park extends from the coastal lowlands to the (Atherton Tableland) area of the Arthur ton Plateau. Here, visitors can enjoy the ups and downs of mountains, rainforest wonders and a variety of wildlife. In addition, the Baron River is one of the scenic spots in the Baron Gorge valley. The river flows through the Asherton Plateau and enters the Baron Canyon, and the swift river flows to the coastal lowlands to form Barron Falls. During the rainy season, the flood poured down from a height of 250 meters, making Barron Falls look magnificent. The park was also an indigenous living area, with indigenous people groping out a path linking the coast to the highlands. Now, travelers can relive this historical route and feel the indigenous culture.
