Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is located in (Hanson Bay), Hansen Bay, southwest of (Kangaroo Island), a famous tourist resort in southern South Australia, for watching wild koalas.
There are many unique plants, wild animals, birds and so on in Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. This is the place with the most wild koalas on kangaroo island. If you are lucky, you can find the sleeping koala on the eucalyptus tree outside the tourist center of the park. After entering the park, wild koalas can be seen everywhere, or sleeping or eating or stunned, simple and lovely, there are also kangaroos, possum, echidna and other lovely small animals, are not afraid of people.
The Visitor Center is the gateway to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, while providing catering and accommodation services. (Hanson Bay Cabins), the Hansen Bay Resort in the protected area, has a one-bedroom and two-bedroom separate villa and provides an invincible view of the sea, which is known as one of the best places to stay on kangaroo island. (Southern Ocean Lodge), considered one of Australia's most luxurious hotels, is located at the southernmost tip of Hansen Bay, about 10 kilometers from the reserve.
