Rainforestation Nature Park, located in the rainforest east of Kuranda, a famous rainforest town on Queensland's northeastern coast, is about 24km from Cairns and covers about 100 acres (about 0.4 sq km). Rainforestation Nature Park offers a variety of play experiences: experience conscription, learn rainforest ecology on land and water, meet with unique residents: butterflies, water dragons, pythons, tortoises and eels. Ride through the rainforest and tropical orchards in a unique amphibious vehicle (Army Duck). There is a round-air theatre with a capacity of 400 people, and a daily dance performance of indigenous peoples in Pamajili. In the Golden Age corridor, experience dreamtime walking, local natives will lead visitors outside the theater to learn to throw the original darts and spears. There's also a zoo in Rainforestation Nature Park that sees many of Australia's famous animal babies, including being able to take photos with koalas. Remember to get a Chinese program at the door, or you won't understand what they're doing unless you're indigenous in your past life.
If you take a train from Cairns, it takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach Kuranda, suggest to go in the morning, return train can choose 2pm and 3:30pm two time periods.
