Introduction

Lake Oberon is a high mountain lake in the desolate West Arthur range (Western Arthur's Ranges, located in (Southwest National Park), a southwest national park in southwest Tasmania. It is about 800m above sea level and covers an area of about 15 hectares.

Lake Oberon, like a jewel scattered in a mountain, is a sacred place for hikers and photography enthusiasts. There are few people here, with world-class heritage and magnificent scenery, can be described as a real pure land of the world.

Lake Oberon has no direct access to the road, and hiking is the only way to get there. The common route begins with (Scotts Peak Dam), the Scots Peak Dam, and climbs up West Arthur range (Western Arthur'.
