Gloucester Tree is located in Gloucester National Park (Gloucester National Park), southwest of Western Australia, next to the town Pemberton..

Gloucester Tree is a 71 meter tall Kerry tree (Karri trees), Pemberton surrounded by a total of three such huge Kerry trees, named Loster Tree, Diamond Tree (Diamond) and Dave Evans 200th Anniversary Tree (Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree), Gloucester Tree is the highest and most famous, known as the world's highest-drawn forest fire watchtower.

Grosst Tree, named after the Duke of Grosst (Duke of Gloucester) visited in 1946, was chosen as a forest fire watchtower in 1947. It was one of the eight watchtowers set up between 1937 and 1952. During the period of high forest fires, staff members climbed the top of the tree every day from the hollowed-out steps installed in the tree to observe the potential fire. Gloucester Tree have retired from the duties of the fire watchtower today, but the watchtower remains for bold visitors to climb. After reaching the 58-meter-high watchtower, visitors can look down on the earth and enjoy the spectacular and beautiful forests and pastoral scenery around which has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Pemberton.
