Introduction

Point Labatt is located about 45 kilometers south of Streaky Bay, a small town on the west coast of (Eyre Peninsula) Peninsula in southern Australia, and about 290km by car from (Port Lincoln), the largest town on the peninsula, Port Lincoln.


Point Labatt's cliff faces a spectacular view of the vast Australian Gulf of (Great Australian Bight), and, more importantly, the home of the last remaining permanent Australian sea lion (Australian Sea Lion) community on the Australian continent. Provides visitors with a unique opportunity to observe this rare and endangered marine mammal.

There is a viewing platform 50 meters from the beach on the cliff, where visitors can watch sea lions, and New Zealand soft-haired seal (New Zealand Fur Seal), who dozes off on beaches and rocks with good luck. You can also see lively young kids learn to swim or jump on the beach.
