Karlamilyi National Park is the fourth largest national park in Australia, located in the Pilba region of central Australia, about 1500 kilometers from Perth, the capital of Western Australia, and covers an area of 12837.06 square kilometers.
Karlamilyi National Park was founded in 1977 and was renamed Ludu River National Park (Rudall River National Pack), in 2008. Karlamilyi National Park is the most remote national park in Western Australia. Between (The Great Sandy Desert) and (Little Sandy Desert and) in the Great Sand Desert, including the vast drainage area of the (Rudall River) River. Karlamilyi National Park is composed of tranquil salt lakes, countless red dunes, and open rocky hills. The majestic rocky plateaus, hidden in natural weathered rock caves in the cliffs in the middle of the park, are reflected in clear salt lakes, and numerous clear lakes are formed below the magnificent canyons. Although there is no other elegant environment in most national parks, Karlamilyi National Park has attracted a lot of photographers and explorers by virtue of its majestic wilderness inland temperament. Photography, hiking, swimming and so on are popular activities.
