Surgeon's Cottage

Surgeon's Cottage is a beautiful heritage home built in 1845, situated right amongst the boutiques, galleries and cafes in the main street of Morpeth. A complimentary breakfast is provided for the first night's stay. From the verandah of the Surgeon`s Cottage there are views across the Hunter River and farms to the mountain ranges in the distance. Loft Cottage is in the garden behind the Surgeon's Cottage, it has lots of charm with its unique decor. Both air-conditioned cottages are self contained and fully equipped. They consist of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and a living room with a sofa, dining table and large TV and DVD player. A peaceful fountain garden with covered seating area and a gas barbecue is available. The Cottages are 30 minutes drive from the wineries of Pokolbin and the beautiful surf beaches of Newcastle and only 40 minutes from Newcastle airport, 50 minutes from the waterways and marinas of Port Stephens. The Cottages are conveniently located right amongst the cafes, boutiques and galleries in the main street of the village.
