Cedar Park Rainforest Resort

Cedar Park Rainforest Resort offers a unique experience in the rainforest above Cairns. Each suite is fully self contained with a kitchen, air conditioning / heat and a verandah overlooking the rainforest. Beds are plush and king size, pillows are fresh and the floors are cleaned by robots.

Your suite is your cocoon, you can unwind in comfort. There is an assortment of board games and puzzles you can enjoy in your suite or the public rainforest deck.

Our private ten acre paradise at the end of Cedar Park Road is surrounded by a dense national park rainforest. Colourful butterflies abound, bird watching is rewarding and it’s possible to see cassowary, wallabies, bandicoot, goanna, platypus and other unique Australian wildlife. Native flora is abundant and colourful in season.

Breakfast - A full breakfast is included in all room rates. It’s waiting for you in your full size fridge for you to enjoy at whatever time suits you. Farm fresh eggs, assorted breads, rice, butter, jams, fresh local fruit (from our orchard in season), yogurt, milk, cold meats and cheeses. You can use the toaster, frypan, sandwich press and rice maker to prepare it as you wish.

Coffee and Tea - A capsule espresso machine makes you a beautiful cup of coffee. Also an assortment of teas and instant coffee are provided.

Wifi, phone and (lack of) television - While we do offer free unlimited wifi and Telstra offers limited mobile reception, there are no televisions in our suites. If you wish to watch a movie or news please be prepared to do so on a device you bring with you.

Dinner - Gourmet homemade meals are provided in your freezer and can be warmed up in your microwave. We also provide a minibar with wine, beer and mixed drinks.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to prepare in your room. You may take them out onto the rainforest deck to dine, or enjoy them on your verandah or at the dining table inside your suite.
