Wool Bay is a small town on the east coast of (Yorke Peninsula), west of Adelaide, about 218km by car from Adelaide and 14km from Stampere (Stansbury), with a permanent population of about 600people. Like other coastal towns on the Yorkshire Peninsula, it has clear water, a quiet beach and a long trestle path, (Jetty).
Additional attraction points:
- The trestle path is very beautiful at sunset, remember to take pictures; at the same time, near the trestle path is also suitable for diving, snorkeling or scuba diving;
- Lime Kiln site (Lime Kiln Ruins): between 1900 and 1910, six lime kilns were built on rugged cliffs overlooking the bay, and today the site of only one kiln is still standing on the edge of Jetty. Visitors can visit this vicissitudes of history while touring the shores and cliffs.
