Padthaway is located in the inland area of (Limestone Coast) on the limestone coast southeast of Adelaide, about 295km by car from Adelaide and 160km from (Mount Gambier), the second largest city in South Australia. The Padthaway region is a famous wine region in South Australia. There are several large wine estates nearby.
