Collie is a small town in the southwest of Western Australia, about 200km from Perth, the capital of Western Australia.
Collie is located at the junction of (Collie River) of the Collie River and (Harris River) of the Harris River, where coal is the main industry in the town, as well as industry, agriculture and aquaculture. In recent years, tourism accounts for a growing proportion of Collie, and the Wellington Dam (Wellington Dam), about 25 km west of the town, has beautiful scenery, clear water and a wealth of fish, making it a hot spot for fishing, swimming and boating.
