Bordertown is a small town on the limestone coast of South Australia on (Limestone Coast), about 270km by car from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and about 188km from (Mount Gambier), the second-largest city in South Australia. Bode is an inland city administratively owned by South Australia, but it is close to Victoria and is the nearest city of South Australia to (Little Desert National Park), a small desert national park in Victoria. The town's size is larger on the limestone coast, with a permanent population of more than 2500, and is a regional service center with full commercial facilities.
