Bairnsdale is a small coastal town located in southeast victoria, east of gippsland region (East Gippsland region), about 280 kilometers from victorian capital, a highland-style tourist town.
The only city in eastern gipė, Bairnsdale, on the mitchell river (Mitchell River) side of the prince's highway (Princes Hwy), is the most famous landmark of st. mary's catholic church (St Marys Catholic Church), a long-standing roman catholic church known for its tall towers, ceilings and fine murals on it.
