Lady Illite Island, 'Star' on the Great Barrier Reef in Central Queensland

 06 Jan 2019

The Great Barrier Reef is always the first to think of Keynes or the Holy Spirit Islands. In fact, the Great Barrier Reef stretches 2300 kilometers, the area is very wide. In addition to Australia's north, there are plenty of good places in central Queensland. Lady Illite, for example, is worthy of recommendation! Compared to Keynes, there are fewer visitors here, so the ecology is also well protected, is the first choice for small and high-end!

(Lady Elliot Island), the southernmost coral island of the Great Barrier Reef, covers an area of about 45 hectares. The name comes from a ship once moored here called Lady Elliot. Lady Illite Island, situated on a tidal lagoon, has undergone more than 3500 years of natural evolution. The coral reefs around it are a "green zone" with colorful and interesting marine animals and coral reef ecology.

How do I get to Mrs. Illite?

Lady Illite is the nearest Great Barrier Reef island to Brisbane, the southern capital of Queensland. On the way to the destination, a wide-sighted sightseeing plane will take you to the right altitude to take a bird's eye view of the 70-kilometer-long golden coast and the panorama of the city and the Great Barrier Reef. In particular, near the Q1 Star Tower, the sparkling sea and golden beach meet at random, forming colors of varying depth.

The irregular edges of the coastline outline a picturesque picture, coupled with a more colorful projection of clouds. Lady Illite's island is surrounded by a vast circle of living coral reefs that are as colorful as rainbows. The water above the coral reef is blue-green, and beyond the coral reef is a deeper shade of blue, making the island a dazzling diamond embedded in the ocean.

Lady Illite Island-Star of the Great Barrier Reef

Ms. Eliot I.

Coral islands, located at the southernmost tip of the Great Barrier Reef, have evolved naturally for more than 3,500 years. It is home to more than 60 species of rare birds, thousands of fish and one of the world's most important turtle habitats. With its largest coral colony, it has become a diving resort. There are not only airports but also resorts on the island. To prevent pollution and maintain the richest natural ecology, coral islands strictly limit the number of people on the islands.

If the central Holy Spirit Islands are characterized by romantic fantasies and Keynes in the north by natural adventures, the southernmost Lady Illite Island on the Great Barrier Reef is a low-key, original ecology. Although Lady Illite is not as famous as the Holy Spirit and Keynes, nor is luxury its main feature, nature's gift is generous. Four seasons change, where you can enjoy sunrise and sunset, tide rising and rising these most primitive beauty. The ocean is surrounded by coral reefs, the land nourishes the vegetation, the islands shelter lovely animals, and brings a glimpse of the Great Barrier Reef for those who come here!
