According to the Australian newspaper, a new analysis shows that overseas students from Australia are willing to pay more tuition fees in order to study at the top universities in the world. This also shows that foreign students and parents attach importance to the ranking of colleges and universities.

According to an analysis by Studymove, an international education information agency, there is a clear link between leading the list of universities in the QS world and paying higher tuition fees for overseas students in Australia.

At lower-ranking Australian universities, undergraduate students pay an average of about A $25,000 a year, but if they go to the top, they pay an average of A $40, 000 a year.

Ramirez (Keri Ramirez), managing director of Studymove, also noted that if analyzed using the Times higher Education World University ranking (Times Higher Education World University Rankings), the results would also be similar.

He said the agency has been tracking tuition fees for international students over the past four years and has found a growing relationship between university rankings and student tuition fees. In the past, university tuition fees were largely determined by local conditions, such as location, facilities, fees for other schools, but now universities rely more on world rankings to determine fees. International students are also increasingly relying on rankings to assess the value of universities. Some surveys also show that international students rely more on ranking to make decisions.

Ramirez warned that it was risky for colleges to rely too much on rankings rather than on their attractiveness to determine tuition fees.
