Graham "Skroo" Turner, a business leader and co-founder and chief executive of Flight Center Travel Group (Flight Centre Travel Group), has restricted immigration to curb the state`s population growth, the Messenger Post reported.

Turner said in a commentary in the Messenger Post today that the state`s population this week exceeded 5 million, which is not a celebration, but a sign of danger. "the surge comes at a price, most notably the impact on the environment, as well as infrastructure."

According to the latest statistics, 47114 people in Kunzhou are from mainland China, accounting for 1% of the total population. But among the non-English-speaking population, Putonghua accounts for 1.5% of the population, reaching 69474.

`We will see a population of 800-10 million in the next 30 years, `said the rich man.` it`s time to stop catching up with the rapid expansion of the world. "We have to make plans, or our quality of life will get worse and worse, and so will infrastructure problems such as transportation and housing."

Turner is a supporter of Australia`s Sustainable Development Party (Sustainable Australia) and a "gold master". The party wants to cut immigration by 2/3 and limit the number of net overseas immigrants to Australia to 70000 a year, including the existing 15, 000 refugee quotas.

At present, Australia`s annual permanent immigration quota ceiling is nearly 200000.

Well-known Australian entrepreneur Smith (Dick Smith) is also a supporter of the Australian Sustainable Development Party`s cuts to the democratic movement.

Turner said it was a sustainable approach and expected net immigration to Kunju to drop to 12, 000 to 15, 000 a year from more than 31000 last year. He also claims that "excessive migration" is the root cause of environmental, infrastructure and housing affordability problems.

"however, this is usually a taboo topic."

The state`s economic advantage benefits from an open, export-oriented and inclusive society, said a spokesman for (Palaszczuk) government in Palazouk.
