Application for bail denied
According to a note released earlier on Weibo by Gao Yunxiang Studio, Gao commissioned a lawyer on April 5 to "apply for bail to a judge for the first time in Sydney, Australia," and is scheduled to "reopen" the application on April 10.
After more than an hour of trial, the bail application was eventually denied.
Denial of sexual assault charges

Gao Yunxiang and his wife Dong Xuan are both Chinese actors. Gao Yunxiang himself was called a "good father" by fans because he participated in the mainland variety show "shiny Dad."
The recent incident of Gao Yunxiang has been thought to affect the normal broadcast of the ancient costume drama Ba Qing (formerly "winning the World") in China, but the relevant broadcast platforms and producers have not publicly expressed their views on the matter.
