About two hundred thousand South Australian residents and businesses suffered a massive power outage after a breakdown of power lines from Victoria

At 1 p. M., Victoria's regular maintenance cut off the Heywood substation, leaving South Australia to generate electricity on its own.

In order to maintain its own balance, about 220 megawatts of power is cut off.

Koutsantonis, the local energy minister, says Victoria should review what went wrong.

The substation was turned off in order to protect South Australia, and we switched off for the maintenance of the balance protection system

He said that South Australia's sustainable energy should not be blamed for another massive power outage.

The leader of the local opposition Liberal Party said it was another textbook of the energy disaster in South Australia.

"last year's Barossa power outage, the Labour Party said it was once a thousand years, when we had a state-wide blackout in September, the Labour Party said it was once a hundred years."

The once-in-a-century, once-in-a-millennium time continues to occur in South Australia, because the Labour Party does not have an effective energy policy.

This has curbed investment and hurt employment and development in South Australia.
