A chilling warning panicked parents and the police were on high alert. The warning says students will be shot at a school in North Brisbane.

The post cited recent shootings in the United States as "bigger than the Parkland and Columbine shootings combined."

"I will shoot as many students as possible at a school in North Lake Queensland." This post, published in the forum 4chan, says.

"Don`t come to school next week," the post warned.

The police are on high alert when they say they are going to shoot Kunzhou students on a large scale.

The cover of the anonymous post is a photo of the Columbine shooting, signed "professionally trained student shooter."

On May 28, police patrolled schools in the Northlakes area of Brisbane.

The police are on high alert when they say they are going to shoot Kunzhou students on a large scale.

The online threat put the education department on high alert, and schools in the region sent letters to their parents.

"Queensland police informed education authorities that they had found this post and that it did not suggest which school in the Northlakes area would be attacked," Northlakes State College wrote in a letter.

"while there are no specific threats, Queensland police are asking the community to be vigilant."

All schools operate as usual, but many parents decide to leave their children at home. The site issued two separate online warnings to schools in the region, and its administrators alerted the police.

Acting director Christopher Stream said police activity around the school will increase as investigators continue to search for suspicious people.

"We take this type of threat very seriously." He said。 "We have one that is taking action and coordinating with the investigation that is being conducted today." Police have no information to show the credibility of the threat, all schools remain open for the time being.

"I can assure you that the students in these schools are safe under our protection." He said。
