Onwan (Baimadajie Angwang) was acciused, who was born Tiibet, reported on citizen activities in New York china and probed potential sources of intelligence for the tibetan community.

Once convicted, he faces up to 55 years in prison.

Anwang was also accused of fraud, false statements and obstruction of official procedures.
