The head of the australian military is repurchasing the country`s defence force to better deal with the security threat in the region.

This time a major assessment of the national defense strategy was conducted only three years after the last federal government`s national defense white paper.

The last defense white paper identified relationship, challenges to the global order, terrorism and the current vulnerability of the country as the main trends in shaping the region.

But Linda Reynolds, a defence minister, said the white paper underestimated the pace of changes in the international situation.

Summit of the Pacific Ocean and Marine Technology in Sydney, to be held in Sydney today: "The world changes faster than we did in 2016."

"We now need to assess these changes and challenges in a calm manner in order to adapt to the rapidly changing world around us...".

She said the Defense Department will need change`s strategy, combat power and organizational structure.

But the Times senator rejected the view that the Department of Defense would need to re-review its strategy for its development.

She told journalist on tuesday:" the foundation that underpins it (the 2016 white paper) still holds."

"However, as we can see, our geo-strategic environment and the development of technology are changing, which is self-evident."

"I think that every Aussie wants us to make sure that we are not only able to do this, but also to make sure we have the ability to handle the new threat."

The Australian newspaper said today that the 70th anniversary of China`s National Day parade, "highlighting the growing strategy threat facing Western countries," was highlighted in its pre-seen speech by the Defense Minister of Reynolds, who said in particular that the 70th anniversary of China`s National Day parade "highlights the growing strategy that western countries are facing." The parade showcased cutting-edge equipment such as new intercontinental ballistic missiles, hypersonic weapons and stealth drones.
