Masaaki Imaeda, a millionaire and Sydney landlord, was exploded as a sex pervert who set up a sophisticated snapping network in his rental house to film the sex process of tenants, according to < News.

Imaeda, 66, once owned a container shack in Sydney`s inner city after a fire two years ago. He installed secret cameras in other properties of his name to spy on tenants to meet his sexual needs.

Police found wire in a shack area owned by Imaeda, a labyrinth of hidden cameras and mirrors connected to a secret cabin in the distance, where Imaeda peeked at the tenant`s private behavior.

Police documents show the Japanese real estate tycoon with transmission lines strewn on the roof and floor of one of his homes, where he snaps videos of sex with his husband and wife and the nudity of young girls. There is a secret cabin in the backyard of the house, where police found a recliner, a large TV connected to a network cable, and many laptops, SD cards, video equipment, small cameras and USB drivers.

Imaeda walked out of court in Campbelltown on Thursday.

Imaeda, who owns millions of Australian dollars worth of property in Australia, appeared before the Campbelltown court on Thursday to face up to two years in prison on multiple charges.

He pleaded guilty to six charges, including unauthorized installation and use of optical equipment, alteration of buildings, and unauthorized spying on other people`s sexual pleasure.

He was also accused of violating the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act in Alexandria, Sydney`s inner city, in 2014. The shack area was exposed by a fire, when his tenants, mostly Asian students, escaped from containers, abandoned caravans and old buses, and four people were rescued by firefighters.

He appeared in court with his wife yesterday, submitted a statement written by his son and fled.

Police found monitors and hard drives in the shed next to the garage, connecting them to the cameras in the bedrooms by wiring the walls and floors.

According to the media, Imaeda`s habit of photographing tenants with cameras to meet their sexual needs is well known among backpackers in Japan.

Documents say Imaeda`s secret cabin was found in April, when a young couple rented a room and found a camera hidden from the ceiling.

They saw a rental ad on cheers.com.au, a Japanese-language website, and agreed to rent the master bedroom of the six-bedroom house in the outer city of Sydney for A $240 a week.

They came from abroad, their wife was Japanese, and they prepaid the rent for two weeks.

Five days later, on April 16, her wife found a warning about Imaeda on a Japanese website. According to the information, Imaeda owns a number of properties in Australia, mostly rented to Japanese students, and the bedrooms of his house are equipped with camera cameras.

When her husband came home that night, she asked him to check the room. The husband found a small hole and a small camera, attached to a chandelier and a wire through the roof, near the ceiling light.

They called the police when Imaeda just returned to Japan. Police examined the secret camera and found it facing the wardrobe`s mirror, which occupied a whole wall, from the floor to the ceiling. They found the whole bedroom visible from the perspective of the camera.

Imaeda often sleeps in a secret cabin.

Police then searched the adjoining bedroom, where a girl had just moved out and found a camera in the TV set on the top of the wardrobe. The camera faces the girl`s bed.

Police then found cameras in the house and hemispheres in the garage and outside the front door.

The tenants told the police that Imaeda had a small bedroom outside the big house, right next to the garage. Police found a monitor and a hard drive in the small bedroom, with wires attached to it, extending through holes in the walls and floors.

The police walked along the line and found that they had just moved into the girl`s room.

Police continued to search and found another camera disguised as a smoke alarm on the walls of the girl`s room. The wire ran through the walls of Imaeda`s small bedroom, through the roof, into the couple`s master bedroom.

The police then went to a renovated hut behind the house, which was used by Imaeda alone. In this small room the police found a big TV, connected to the Internet cable and the router. Opposite the TV is a recliner, a laptop, a camera, a video recording device, a USB driver and an SD card, and another camera disguised as a smoke alarm. There was also an unlocked wardrobe with men`s clothes.

The couple called the police on April 29, when Imaeda returned from Japan. When the police arrived, they arrested Imaeda., who was about to drive away.

In court at the Campbelltown on Thursday, Imaeda`s lawyer said he had many problems with his health and might not be suitable for punishment such as a stronger disciplinary order.

Judge David Degnan told Imaeda that he could be sentenced to up to two years in prison because of the seriousness of the crime he committed.

Mr. Degnan said he was assessing Imaeda`s psychological status to see if he was fit to participate in a community project on sexual offences.

The court will pronounce its sentence next month. Police are worried about Imaeda`s escape from Australia and about other students living in rental homes.

Imaeda also pleaded guilty to two counts of violating the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act on charges of violating the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act in Alexandria`s squatter area, pleading guilty to charges before the Land and Environment Court. Judge Terence Sheahan will pronounce his sentence at a later date.
