Australian visa authorities have been revealed to be suspected of corruption. The Ministry of the Interior responded that it had launched an investigation into the matter.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the media had previously revealed the existence of corruption in the Australian visa system for accusation, an immigrant from detain. The Home Office has launched an investigation into the matter, Mr. (Michael Pezzullo) told the Senate Assessment Committee late Monday night, the under-secretary of the Interior Department of the Interior.

The man detained at the immigrant detain centre said that convicted drug dealer Bethham (William Sualauvi Betham) had boasted to him that he had returned his visa after paying A $80, 000 to a contact.

The incident exposed the visa system`s lack of clarity about the resumption of cancelled visa procedures. Hundreds of former mandatory cancellations of visas have been reinstated by Home Office staff, internal affairs minister or assistant minister.

In the case of Betham, the Home Office resumed his visa in 2008, even though he was jailed for more than 10 years in 2008 for involvement in drug-trafficking offences.

The New Zealand national`s Australian visa was automatically cancelled after the crime, but the Home Office resumed his visa after he was released on parole and transferred to Christmas Island (Christmas Island) custody. He was released in 2017 and is now enjoying life in Gold Coast.

Betham denied accusation that he boasted or paid bribes to get his Australian visa back. Lawer Sumta (Jennifer Samuta) said his client`s visa was restored because he had filed a statement on his behalf that he had succeeded in detoxification, had a low risk of relapse and had a daughter in Kunju.

In response to questions from Green Party Senator Stephen (Nick McKim), Pezorro confirmed that the Home Office was investigating the matter.

But the expose people known about Betham were told on Monday that they were about to be deported. Macintosh asked Pezorro and Australian Border Service (ABF) Commissioner Utrem (Michael Outram), that the latest round of judicial review of the visa was still on appeal, and who made the decision to expel him on what grounds.

Mr Utrem responded that the Australian Border Guard would not hastily cancel individual visas or expel them casually unless they were legal and co-ordinated with the work of the Home Office.
