Two approaches to EA career Assessment

1. Certified qualification Assessment through recognised (accredited) Engineering Qualifications:-Australian Education-all three levels Australian Qualifications-All Three Levels-Washington Agreement-Professional engineer Washington Accord for Professional Engineer-Sydney Agreement-Engineering Technology Personnel Sydney Accord for Engineering Technologist: these qualifications apply only to undergraduate professional engineering degrees. Not suitable for engineering education with lower academic level or graduate qualification. 2. By submitting proof of competency reports (uncertified qualifications) through a Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) for non-recognised qualifications CDR is primarily assessable in English for writing a summary statement of three career experiences and various competencies (FLYabroad) Writing) The major assessable features of the CDR are your narratives written in English of three career episodes and a Summary Statement of the competency elements you have claimed. CPD content (list form) This CPD may take the form of a listing (with dates) of: 1) after graduation formal training or Learning formal post-graduate study; 2) meetings conferences at which you have delivered papers or attended. 3) short-term classes, workshops, seminars, discussion groups, meetings, technical inspection and technical meetings short courses, workshops, seminars and discussion groups, conferences, Technical inspections and technical meetings you have attended 4) preparation and presentation of material for courses, conferences, seminars and symposia 5) contribution to engineering (volunteering, board or committee volunteers, supervisory work, etc.) service to the engineering profession (volunteer work, board or committee volunteer, mentoring,) Etc) 6) individual learning (including books, journals, manuals, etc.) private study (includes books, journals, transactions, manuals, etc)

EA career Assessment requirement

1. IELTS requires no less than 6 items (either Class G or Class A). The report card is sent directly from the IELTS examination Center (www.ielts.org) to the Engineers Australia, for a period of 2 years. Note: native English, complete an Australian undergraduate engineering degree, applicants who have completed a master's or doctorate degree at an Australian university may be exempted from IELTS. 2.EA does not have specific requirements for engineer assessment of work experience, but for skilled immigrant applicants, at least one year of relevant work experience, more than 4 years of work experience is easier to apply for.

EA career Assessment cycle and validity period

After receiving 5 days, send CID (Contact ID Number), overseas education 13 weeks (3 months), recognized education 8 weeks. An appeal can be made within 12 months of the result. Engineer evaluation validity: lifetime valid, but valid for immigrants only 3 years, more than 3 years need to send the original back to EA to issue a new evaluation letter.

EA fees and payments

The standard assessment (Standard CDR assessment) application fee is 635 Australian dollars. Means of payment (offshore): international bill of exchange / postal order Bank Draft/Money Order drawn to an Australian bank in Australian dollars cheque Cheque Australian Money Order Cheque credit card Credit Card

Since 2016, EA has had several updates, including the acceptance of TOEFL ibt, China as a full-fledged member of the Washington agreement.
