According to a secret database of government in Australia, there has been a surge in citizen in China and Malaysia, which have been warned at the border, with 11000 Chinese citizen added to the Ministry of the Interior`s "vigilance list" last year alone, with an annual increase of 23.6 per cent in (PAL),.

According to the Australian, the number of citizen in China is the second largest, with a total of 58724 people. At the top of the list was Malaysia, with 68417 Malaysian citizen listed, accounting for 11.8 per cent of the total, and an increase of 37.2 per cent last year alone.

Malaysia and China ranked behind New Zealand (43470), India (36168) and the United Kingdom (28770) on the PAL list, followed by New Zealand (43470), India (36168) and the United Kingdom (28770).

The reasons why China`s citizen was added to the PAL list include "doubts about the authenticity of the purpose of coming to Australia", "arrears to the Federal debt", "overstaying" and so on.

Nearly 150 Chinese citizen were listed because they constitute threat for Australia`s national security. China`s citizen is also listed more than other countries because of visa violations.

Cohen (John Coyne), a border security expert at (APSI) at the Australian Institute for Strategic Policy, said the data showed some of the risks that Australia is increasingly worried about. He said the government appeared to pay particular attention to visitors from China and Malaysia, leading to a surge in the number of citizen in the listed countries.

Cohen was not surprised by the trend, adding that "this increase may be justified and contrasts with domestic applications for temporary and protective visas, as well as public information on violations of conditions of employment. The most common in those areas are the Chinese and Malaysians."

The Ministry of the Interior confirmed that the number of applications for domestic protection visas fell by 12 per cent in the last fiscal year.

Interior ministry speaker said:" the interior ministry is concerned about the new methods and tools used by organizers to identify those false visa applications and keep pace with the changes in treaty."

"coping strategies include enhanced intelligence threat assessments and targeted deployment of existing and emerging hotspots and trends."

The Department of the Interior also noted that the number of airline focal points and Australian Border Service (ABF) personnel stationed at international airports around the world increased by 89 percent in the last fiscal year. "those people have false documents or have no real travel intentions."

According to statistics obtained by the Freedom of Information Act, 35760 Malaysian citizen and 12442 Chinese citizen were listed on the PAL list because of doubts about the "authenticity" of potential schemes for coming to Australia.

Another 15109 Chinese citizen and 12934 Malaysian citizen were listed for "arrears to federal debt", while another 9867 Malaysian citizen and 5735 Chinese citizen were added to the PAL list because of "overstaying".

In terms of "national security concerns," Pakistan has the largest number of citizen listed, with 281. the second is Iran, which has 280. Lebanon ranks third with 215. There are 152 Iraqis listed for this reason, 147 in China`s citizen, 135 in Afghanistan`s citizen and 130 in India`s citizen. It is reported that a total of 76 countries and regions because of "national security concerns" on the PAL list.

In terms of visa violations, the largest number of Chinese were listed, with 3154, followed by India with 1493 and Malaysia with 1350.

11531 New Zealand citizen are on the PAL list for "serious or serious crimes", more than any other country.
