According to the Daily Telegraph, (Newcastle Airport), New York`s Newcastle Airport, will start operating international flights a week later, with a one-way ticket to Auckland for Virgin Australia`s (Virgin Australia) for just A $199.
It is reported that the new state Newcastle Airport (Newcastle Airport) 22 began to operate international routes. In the past, travelers flying to New Zealand from the Grand Hunter area (Greater Hunter Region) had to change flights in Sydney or Brisbane, but now they can save more time and money.
Virgin Australia said it would operate three round-trip flights a week during the busy holiday season, adding 13,000 seats from Nov. 22.
Newcastle Chief Executive Officer Kirk (Peter Cock) said community residents are very welcome to direct international flights. This seasonal flight service will be an important step forward for the airport to become the new state`s second international portal.
