Dubai`s sheikh has been one of the victims of a cooling property market in Sydney, losing more than A $500,000 on resale of Moshven`s (Mosman) home.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Almerktum (Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, chief of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the actual owner of a five-home house on (Orlando Avenue) Avenue, Moshavin Orlando, Sydney, according to the Domain website.

At the end of 2016, Sheikh`s company bought the house for A $5 million for (Henry Plumptre), the Australian head of operations, and his wife, Michelle (Michelle). At the time, Sheikh was behind the scenes actively promoting the global expansion of Godorfen (Godolphin) horse racing and breeding.

Plum Choi resigned in 2017 and was replaced by Cox (Vin Cox), former head of Magic Millions Horse auction. With Cox still based in Gold Coast, the company no longer needs the house in Sydney, so it was listed last month.

Yesterday, the 446-square-meter house was put up for public auction, starting at A $4 million. Although the house was renovated after the last deal, it sold for A $4.45 million after four bidders.
