The University of Sydney (The University of Sydney) has reached an agreement with the new state of government to open a second campus in West Sydney to facilitate the development of the Westmead (Westmead) Art Education Park.

According to the Daily Telegraph, government plans to build a world-class medical and educational centre in Sydney`s "geographical center". In addition to universities, there will also be primary and secondary schools in the park.

The University of Sydney will hold 24-month consultations with the new state of government on the park`s master plan. The University of Sydney is highly academic and well-known at home and abroad to support the world`s top education park and will work closely with supporting medical institutions in the park on groundbreaking medical research, said Governor Bergilyn (Gladys Berejiklian).

The new Westmead campus is expected to attract more than 25,000 students and 2500 faculty by 2050. Over the next 30 years, the park will create more than 20, 000 jobs, injecting A $13 billion into the local economy.

University of Sydney Vice Chancellor Spence (Michael Spence) said the school will provide affordable accommodation for employees and students. Over the next decade, he said, the new campus will create 450 on-campus scientific jobs, 3500 in-school research, 3500 in health care, education, biotechnology, manufacturing and other high-value industries, and will boost third-party investment on the campus.

In addition, Westmead Hospital (Westmead Hospital) is currently undergoing major renovation and upgrading works. The new state health director, Hazard (Brad Hazzard), said the project would bring a huge change to the region. He said the renovation will be completed by 2020, when the new Westmead Hospital will ensure that the growing population of West Sydney will continue to enjoy world-class medical services at home and will further promote employment. Provide local opportunities for pioneering medical research and education.

It is reported that the University of West Sydney (Western Sydney University), Newcastle University (Newcastle University), (University of NSW), the University of New South Wales, and (University of Wollongong), the University of Woolengong, have also announced that they will work together to build a new university in the West Sydney Airways City of (Western Sydney Aerotropolis).
